I thoroughly recommend Chateau Versailles. I spent 6 nights here in the king room suite. The room was immaculately clean, quiet and comfortable. The daily breakfast was delicious and nutritious. The hotel staff were always courteous and helpful. The location is super convenient for transport and sightseeing. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and great value. Highly recommend.
Location was great, and hotel staff were very friendly. The gym was not really a gym (3 pieces of equipment only 1 really worked) but free access to the better gym at the sister hotel over the street. The breakfast was average. The rooms were ok. Bed was adequate. Nice shower. Warm temperature room which was nice but noisy heater (sometimes it wakes you).
I spent 5 nights in Chateau Versailles Hotel. It’s beyond my expectations. The daily breakfast is good. They have super helpful staff. Very nice, kind, and caring people. I’m glad that I chose this hotel to stay in during my trip in Montreal. Highly recommended
Had a great stay at Chateau Versailles. There was an issue with a smell in our original room and the staff immediately accommodated us and upgraded our room for the remainder of our 4-night stay. We were very pleased with the robes and slippers provided. The Trianon Suite was stocked with utensils, plates, and even a small electric stovetop. There was a Nespresso machine included as well.
They offer fair prices if you’re looking for a place to stay in Montreal downtown. Complimentary breakfast is nice to have a cup of coffee or a bagel with cream cheese before you head out to explore the city. Sheets were clean and I like how they provide capsule coffee in the room. Don’t mind the negative reviews can’t beat that for this price.
Incredible people, great breakfast, wonderful location. We got a free upgrade because it was our 40th Anniversary. Just a great time in every way. (But you better like stairs, cuz we didn't see any elevators.)
Old world luxury with large rooms and picture windows. Very good breakfast included. Originally a private mansion converted into a hotel. Pleasant and accommodating front desk staff.
We really enjoyed our stay here. I’m not sure why all the negative reviews. I booked this hotel for my daughter and I for the old charm and it didn’t disappoint. It has a very charming bed and breakfast feel. Our room was large and spacious (king suite), bathroom was clean, staff were so friendly and helpful, the included breakfast isn’t anything fancy but still great, and the location is perfect. Close to the metro and walking distance to lots! If you’re looking for an updated new feel this isn’t the hotel for you-if you’re looking for charm and cozy vibes this is a great option!
